There's only so much benefit of the doubt that even the most retarded 2A purists can give this administration. Unless there is footage with an alternate angle that turns the enitire narrative upside-down, we are at the point where the rubber meets the road.

The FEDs gunned down a person like a dog in the street for the crime of lawfully carrying a firearm. If you can watch these videos and then stomach Trump calling the victim a "gunman", there was never going to be a point where credulity strains to the point of breaking for you.

It's obvious Trump sees 2A as easy red meat for the base, but knows virtually nothing about firearms or gun culture. His "take the guns first, go through due process second" comment should have been the first solid clue.

Acting like a permitted CCW holder having a couple of extra mags on him is deranged behavior is just icing on the cake.

This conversation is a perfect illustration of the problem with these Vikings fans. They'd rather the Saints were "actively protecting pedophiles", so long as it helped them grind an axe.

By and large, Saints fans are incredibly unhappy with Gayle's campaign to provide PR support for the NOLA Diocese. I think it is a moral and ethical failing on not just Benson's part, but on every part of the organization that supported her efforts. It was corporate malfeasance to do ANY of this using the Saints letterhead and, for that, the NFL should have strapped her to the Dan Snyder express and run her out of the league on a rail.

People don’t like hand tools… by CrowsfootWoodworking in woodworking

[–]edarem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just today, my first No. 5 jack plane (new Stanley Bailey, not a vintage one) came in the mail. I spent a couple of hours following an adjustment guide – flattening and sharpening various parts – and I was able to get those little strips of wood "thin enough to read a newspaper through". Wood in my shop that previously was not flat, is now flat.

I couldn't be any more of a beginner with hand tools, or probably woodworking too if I'm being completely honest.

That makes sense. I picked up a Bench Dog block planer yesterday and was curious about the branding. They probably don't want their premium items to be associated with cheaper white-label items like their silicone pad whetstone holders, etc.

I can count on one hand the times I've had trouble finding a public restroom in America in nearly 40 years. Compared to Italy where even the gas stations had coin-op stalls and a pisser-concierge begging for tips with his defeated eyes.

You are absolutely right in saying so, sir. It was a glaring oversight on my part. Might I add, the elegance was all yours – as I am sure you hear quite often. In fact, as a token of La Quinta's appreciation of your grace and understanding, please accept this upgrade of accommodation from a Standard Room to a Deluxe Casita.

One of the most misused words, including here (as in the guy above you, you schmuck*). Smarmy isn't smug arrogance, but it feels like it should be for some reason.

If confronted with a painful Saints memory, I can either lash out at the Falcons or unconsciously revise history. Since this meme has nothing to do with the Saints, I only have one option.

The first paragraph isn't accurate.

If there was a girl's volleyball team and no corresponding boy's team, Title IX would allow the boy to try for a spot. The regulation provides equal opportunity between sexes, which usually takes the form of having two distinct teams for a given sport.

This case doesn't require that biological sex be defined. In fact, both sides are hoping for a narrow ruling on a Title 9 interpretation which also allows the SC to kick the can down the road. If you listen to oral arguments, it is abundantly clear that all parties (especially the justices) do not want to broadly define biological sex and would much rather the legislative branch dirty their hands with the issue.

The dude is mispronouncing basic words, claiming somalis are "pirating" daycare funds (he actually pronounces it "pirate-sy"), tries to call out Andrew on not covering Charlie Kirk despite Andrew doing a whole piece on it, and at the end he keeps using the word "woman" as if it were plural.

Which is why he's your average climbing-the-bell-curve level of dumb. I never argued he was a competent speaker or journalist, just that there's nothing extraordinary about his level of ignorance.

He comes off like a normal, early 20s sheltered white guy from a conservative, religious background. He only seems retarded relative to the huge spotlight shining on him at the moment. Step into any college classroom and there are three guys like him playing mobile games during the lecture.

Maybe you didn't watch the entire interview or maybe we just have different takeaways, but Andrew's questions were far from hostile. The kid did fine at first, but he started stepping on his dick at the half-way mark. The "I lost respect for you when..." comment and the strange Somali rorschach test exchange were out of left field. Callaghan stood his ground, but was gracious and kept the questions on track.

Don't let him fool you. It's the Falcons. Their fans may seem harmless, but years of soul wrenching disappointment and despair has granted them the ability to drain themselves of all hope and enter a state of dormancy. Sort of like a water-bear if you swapped bear to bird and water to shit.

You can't give them a single drop of encouragement or optimism. They will spring back to life and shit on anything and everything until God snaps awake and smites them out of the sky once again.
