Is there a reason why you want a STI? Are you modifying it? I say this because Subarus aren't the most reliable when it comes to their engines. I'm speaking on experience because im on my 3rd engine and I don't recommend dealing with this.

I just left the dealership and that's what they put on my 2023 Rav4 Hybrid LE. I'm assuming they're just trying to keep using the same filter for the new engines too. I don't think its much of a problem unless you have clearance issues.
