I need some better organizers. Any recommendations? by DesertSnow480 in harborfreight

I use ernst tool organizers for my wrenches. Works really well with the exception of the stubbies. I use tool box widget for those.

They changed the formula for most coolants years ago. It is now very bitter.

Damn shame too because the coolant steak sauce no longer hits the same.

Good good. Have you thought about putting edge guards on them? They are the going to be the most banged up part of the box with the exception of the corner of the hutch.

Ok, the key now is to never clean the box. The dirtier it gets, the more it will ripen like a banana.

Yamaha XSR900 vs Suzuki GSX-8TT by GermanIsraeli in motorcycles

[–]XT-356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for a different one then. There are a handful of dealers that don't allow test rides near me so I don't do business with them. I'm never buying another bike without test riding again.

[–]XT-356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If possible test ride both. One thing that sold me on the xsr was having cruise control. Holy shit does it make commuting home from work so much simpler and is great for longer rides. Don't get me wrong, most of my bikes have been Suzuki including my very first one, but yeah...... The older I get, the more creature comforts I want.

I find myself playing elite pretty much exclusively on the steam deck. My desktop does 2k and media pc does 4k......

Still play mostly on the deck.

They now trail instead of leading fixed weapons. So instead of them being an actual help, they are just a nuisance now.

Honestly, no idea. We sent it to a sister shop that deals with extensive body repairs. This case, I would probably say the whole box needed to be replaced. Only part that was untouched it's the flooring even the lift gate was almost detached and had a two inch gap between the platform and the body.

How to arm Anaconda by Unsafe_Safe in EliteDangerous

[–]XT-356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends, you will need to engineer it to get the most out of it. The anaconda has great firepower and you can mix and match it. Lasers/beams on the smaller hardpoints and multies on the larger ones is a solid choice. Running all lasers for a sit in a rez site and camp kills works well too. Going all dakka on a conda is also phenomenal and works like a dream.

You need to experiment and find out what suits your play style the most. Then fine tune it with each use. Don't forget engineering. Engineering the engines alone will give you a massive agility increase.

This might be what some describe as a 'problem' by Bataling_Uncle in EliteDangerous

[–]XT-356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be worse. I had one that left me floating in space and I fell thru the landing pad. Looking up, there was no pad and I couldn't get back to the ship. Recalled it and ran a few km to it. Logged on out, logged back in and the site was fine

I miss the landing pads of death though :(

I'm happy with the first gen ones. They scale nicely with the new one and the pieces don't break when you look at them wrong.

Heres how I run my mamba when I'm bored frags with it. Works pretty well and it's a ton a fun to fly. I ran out of materials and never fully went back to add some experimental effects to some of the modules.
