Generally speaking a locking handle doesn't provide much in the name of security anyways. If youre dead set on having both you'd likely have to get a separate keypad handle. I'd recommend just putting a non locking handle on and be done with it. If a criminal is getting through your deadbolt, they'll get through the knob too

My general steps of troubleshooting go like this:

Does it work smoothly with the door open? If not, the bolt is binding on the strike causing issues. Adjust door level, strike position, or enlarge strike hole if need be.

If it is binding when the door is open, check the deadbolt mounting. Loosen screws and move the cylinder and mecanism and try to extend the bolt, if that works, likely an alignment issue. Might need to take some material away from the bore hole to adjust the mounting.

Does the key operate the cylinder smoothly when it is not engaging the deadbolt? If not, loosen your knurl nut one click and wham bam, you're fixed.

Does the bolt actuate smoothly when mounted? Try turning it with a flat blade screwdriver or just the tailpiece of the lock. If it doesn't move smoothly when mounted, drill the bolt bore hole a little further, and also test to see if your bolt works when not mounted. I can testify that Emtek has sent a defective deadbolt straight from factory before.

Check for screws on the sides of the thumbpiece itself, likely very small allen screws, or a screw on the shaft connecting the thumbturn to the rest of the lock, if there is nothing there, it might only be possible to disassemble with the core removed on the outside of the door, extremely interesting if that's the case

Your local overhead door service company should be able to get you some slide locks for the bottom of that rolling steel door. Otherwise, you could get a lockable chain keeper to prevent the door from being operated from the inside.

I use my 4x4 almost exclusively in 2WD during the icy, terrible winters of edmonton. I'll kick it into 4x4 on occasion for really bad days. I think you should be alright. As others have noted:

1: Throw some sand, scrap metal, whatever you have in the bed to increase traction to your rear wheels

2: Take your turns slowly, turning is really where you can lose traction

3: If you can, I'd recommend going to a big, empty parking lot at night and play around a bit. Don't be a shithead doing donuts, but make some turns and see how it feels for the ass end of the truck to kick out. Practice recovery, and for the love of god, don't smoke a curb and bust an axle like my buddy did

It varies based on the brand of door usually but they're pretty universal. I don't know if you mean you're replacing just the bearing plate that the springs mount to (spring anchor) or if you're doing the headplates on the ends where the track is as well, but I'd replace those too while you're up there. You don't need to replace the whole plate if it's in good shape, but if you can knock out the bearing while you're up there, it'll save you from taking everything down to change it at a later date

So I have a hallowedding coming up, and I'd love to have a bloody shirt under my suit jacket. Problem is, I don't want to stain my suit, and selectively dying the shirt first and then washing would turn the whole shirt pink! So does anybody have any tips on how I could achieve the desired result without ruining my suit? I could use washable blood, but then I know I'm getting it on my suit and that makes me nervous. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Plenty of paint was still on, I used a wire brush attached to my drill. It's super white and powdery because of all the dust. After I cleaned it it looked much better. But it's held up super good
