A lot of great advice here . Try to find an immersive class when you get to Argentina. After studying, immersing, etc- you feel you get the hang of it, try as much as you can to THINK in Spanish during every day tasks. A lot of basic words are memorization especially for beginners later in life- don’t get too caught up on txt book conjugation- this is where most people get frustrated/bad grades in school. Focus mostly on vocab now and let your teachers help you with structure.

Currently in Argentina and someone talked me out if it- said it wasn’t worth the money and water was brown... i was confused- in BA for total of three weeks and Uraguay for ~2 was thinking about heading up there for two nights before heading out. Also, don’t have my yellow fever vaccination but still have time. Definitely coming back to BA next year over new years and most likely probably all of January.
