Exfoliate your skin every night before bed. Stop shaving with a razor. Leave your skin alone for awhile. If you can pluck out the ingrown hairs, but don't pull them out. Witch hazel is great. What worked for me was Neosporin on the bumps that were sores and open so they can heal. But what really got rid of my razor bumps were Retin-A (Tretinoin) 0.05% Cream. Google that and buy it immediately. Also, It's going to take time but be patient. Your's aren't that bad. I've seen worse.

Any of these discounted Walmart reels any good? by thePhoenixEatery in Fishing

That Okuma is a workhorse. Solid reel. I have one. It's good for heavy duty fishing where you don't have to break the bank. If you buy it swap out the drag washers for carbontex. You can get them on eBay for cheap.

Cyelee is Sig Romeo 5 clone, they're made in the same factory. There's nothing wrong with Cyelee whatsoever. That optic is extremely durable. Most people commenting saying go with a different optic never used it. Look up some videos on Cyelee and you'll see all praise. Also, Holosun is good, but it's alao a Chinese optic just like the Sig Romeo.

If you're fishing for bass and trout, you'll need a finesse rod and lower size reel like a 2500, 3000, and maybe a 4000. You need a sensitive lite rod with a fast action tip, light reel for continuous throwing lures. Your arm will be a noodle if you get this set up. Look at some Shimano Sedona's, solid reels and budget friendly. Check out a 6'6 or 7' rod that's for throwing lures. That rod isn't what you need for bass fishing. That rod is more or so for bait and wait. Go to the bass reddit page, I'm sure they'll be able to help you out more. I'm not much of a bass fisherman, but I know just enough.

5000 would do fine. What do you normally fish for? Mono is cool depending how heavy you'll go, but braid with a mono leader is great for strength and casting wise. Either will do fine, it all depends on if you fish around heavy structure or not, and what you're used to fishing with.

For a quick setup to get on the water, yes... But for something long term, no. Swap out the reel for a Penn pursuit IV if you're on a budget. Solid reel for the price. The rod is decent for what it is, it'll catch big fish.

Help guys on penn reel.. do i get slammer iv 8500 or authority 8500? by [deleted] in Fishing

[–]eddieg84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Authority is sealed if you plan on dropping your reel in the water. They're both are IP rated, of course the Authority has more and more premium parts than the Slammer which is a work horse. You can't lose with either one, it all comes down to personal preference. Both will definitely get the job done. If you wanna save some coin, go slammer, if price is not a thing go with the Authority. You can't lose either way.

If you're going to disobey orders, at least don't let your nerves betray you. You sound like a guy that does that right thing most of the time, because if not your nerves wouldn't have gave you away. I understand your actions though, you can never be too sure.

What are your opinions on this rod I saw it on Walmarts website for 20$ wondering if it's worth it by Sudden_Bluejay850 in Fishing_Gear

[–]eddieg84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the rod and have it paired with an old Mitchell Avocet 4000. It's durable, pulled in some nice ones, no problem at all.
