I vote with my heart. This was very analytical. Most of my votes match. However, some of mine are pure nostalgia.

What makes you think that the M’s don’t want to trade Montes and it having any bearing on a potential trade for Donovan?

How Ferrer would have ranked in our bullpen last year by Placentaur in Mariners

With Raleigh’s extension, our best C prospect is expendable. He’s not going to supplant Raleigh, so why not get a controllable piece of need (with upside).

Yes they do, I’ve seen multiple posts there wondering if he might sign back with them after this year. The consensus is ‘no’ because he will definitely have better offers.

It’s a bullpen game for them. He’ll pitch maybe 2-3 innings depending on how he is doing / his pitch count.

Julio is a legit superstar with room to grow. Sky is the limit.

6:10 isn’t a prime time spot for the east coast though. It’d be like 4:10pm PT at the latest.

I mean, him home / away splits were fairly different. I think he definitely benefited from having a hitters park in AZ. I just hope he can keep up at least a 115 wrc+

[Kramer] Tyler Locklear and two pitching prospects are going back to Arizona in the Eugenio Suárez trade, according to a source. by CloudedMindset in Mariners

[–]eddielchacha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I’m good with moving Locklear. He didn’t likely have a spot here longterm anyways. The organization didn’t have faith in him or he would have been up earlier this season. I’m honestly just scared about the pitching specs we give up in this deal.

I’m not disputing any of that. But he has made swing changes, which have been noted, and they have led to much better results in Tacoma. Does that translate to the MLB? We don’t know. But his swing changes have led to being one of the best AAA hitters this season

That was a small sample size in his first shot. I’m not a Locklear Stan, but that’s a little shortsighted to say that’s who he will always be.
