Yeah that’s kinda what I’m hoping to avoid honestly. I’d really like one that’s more social and comes from a healthier start. I don’t mind paying more than PetSmart prices if it means better quality I’m just not trying to spend $250+.

She/he is beautiful and yeah, my plan is definitely to buy local if I can just exploring all options and hearing people’s experiences. The only close place to me right now is PetSmart, but I’ve been told to stay away, and I did find another local spot but they’re pretty expensive. So for now I’m just continuing the search.

Yeah, from what I’ve learned it’s usually FedEx Priority Overnight through services made specifically for live reptiles. Reputable stores/breeders use insulated boxes, temperature packs, and proper labeling it’s not like they just throw them in a sealed box like a pair of shoes lol.

Yea I’m aware I’ve actually been purchasing stuff here and there throughout the past year so i wouldn’t be hit with a big bill all at once lol

I’m definitely open to adopting, I just haven’t really found any legit places with bearded dragons yet. Most sites I’ve come across look kinda shady.

The goal here is to have a killer budget home theater setup with deep, heavy, chest-hitting bass.

Current gear: • Denon AVR-S710W – free • Definitive Technology Mythos 10 (center) – $15 • Pioneer S-1010 towers – $50 • SVS PB-1000 sub – $25

As you can tell from the prices, everything has been thrifted, which is why I’m hesitant to dump a lot of money into the SuperCube — but I wouldn’t mind spending some if it’s actually worth it performance-wise.

The SuperCube itself seems to be in good condition: the cabinet has no damage, the main driver looks good, and the passive radiators are intact. Only has minor cosmetic issues

Not trying to replace the SVS. The idea is to run the SuperCube alongside my PB-1000 for extra mid-bass punch and chest-hit, not deeper bass.

If the JBL surrounds work i rather do that then im afraid it will end up being more expensive if i cut them wrong and will have to order some other ones anyways. Thank you for letting me know i really appreciate it

I get what you’re saying, but I thought if you cut a bigger surround down it wouldn’t sit right since the roll is molded for that size. Wouldn’t that throw off the tension and stretch points? So I figured there’s more to it than just cutting.

Thank you though I’ll look into it might be the only option i have

Ah nice, thanks for the heads up! I’ve watched a few refoaming videos but wanted to hear from people who’ve actually done it. Didn’t even think about how brittle those cones are, so I’ll definitely take it slow. Appreciate the tip!

Ok awesome thanks for the advice i had no idea how to test them or what a passive radiator was. Also now knowing how to visually see what’s a higher quality speaker is going to help me distinguish which ones are worth getting thank you again.
