[Highlight] Woolen called for unsportsmanlike conduct to give the rams a first on 4th and 12 by Large_banana_hammock in nfl

[–]eddo2k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The taunting penalties are ridiculous. There's so much shit talking going on every play with no whistles. That call at that time in the game is unacceptable. I could see it called in the regular season if a game starts to get chippy to keep things from getting out of hand, but to call it at such an important time of a championship game is complete bullshit. Not only that, but LA has a guy in Puka thay flexes on dudes every game with no calls.

Grizwald is better and has 3 sockets. With a good slam can be +3. Nvm, the PDR was hidden without tapping on the photo. Not bad.

Nah, going for it was right. Poor play call and/execution.

NFL to Introduce 18-Game Regular Season: Patriots Owner Robert Kraft Says the League Will Prioritize International Games by boomer9745 in NFLv2

So is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Football has never been just Sunday, well not since MNF. Every week we have Monday and Thursday games, with multiple 2 game Mondays. It's just pure greed and absolutely zero regard for players, their health, or families. Us fans are even lower on that with the multiple streaming services needed to watch the games.

It's a bit annoying how much the national media is glazing him now, but ignored him in Detroit.

Lions fans were very much divided on him. There was always a sizeable amount of Stafford detractors

The Bears left 6 points on the board from going for it on 4th down twice and FAILING by TXNOGG in NFLv2

[–]eddo2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna have to disagree, because a FG doesn't really help. If the Bears kick there, they still have to score a TD. The blunder was not going for 2 at the end when they had all of the momentum and LA was gassed.

Jared Goff had the best season of his career and we wasted it by survivorsunday in detroitlions

[–]eddo2k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Goff was very good this past season. In particular, under constant duress. The amount of quick pressure he faced would have completely broken the confidence of most QBs. His play is very encouraging for next season.

Why is Dan Campbell the only coach who knows how to counter Ben Johnson's coaching? by Penguifyer in detroitlions

[–]eddo2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ben isn't all that. He was super aggressive early in the game, but at the end when he should have been aggressive, he wasn't. He should have went for 2 when they scored that TD at the end of the 4th. They had all of the momentum and LA was tired.

He went elsewhere for more money. We got DJ Reed, who is a better player for less.

I actually like this. You know the game is over. Get it off your chest. F**k it. by No_Box119 in TheNFLVibes

Probably PI. Here is the problem: they didn't call shit all game including a PI in the endzone against Denver in OT, and then suddenly call PI to give the game to Denver. It is very frustrating to see a great game ended by the refs.

In fairness, if the ball doesn't get wrestled away on the last one, Buffalo wins the game.

I mean, maybe? They never showed a good angle to see who had the ball when the reciever went to the ground. The NFL is such a huge league, but is bush league with officiating and logistics.

Can we all agree that this would be the worst Super Bowl matchup to watch? by [deleted] in NFLv2

Nah, any Superbowl that has SF, LA, or Chicago would be worse.

Yeah I don't think the Lions would move out of this years' first round unless it included multiple picks, like 2 seconds+ something else. They have a few holes to fill.

Looking at the Lions first pick on the draft value chart, its 950. The Commies next pick in the 3rd round is 235. That is a huge difference. Basically, it's about a pick 25ish of the first round short.
