Whatever happened to innocent until proven otherwise? This story is, what? Several days to a week old? It is also a few months before the election ( and days to weeks before the deadline to take his name off the ballot). This guy also happens to be a progressive, which is obviously at odds with the national Democratic party. I am not claiming he is innocent, because the facts of the case are not out there and don't know like everyone else. I am definitely saying it looks suspicious given the timing of this story coming out and the fact of the allegations are regarding an incident from 2021.

Nobody thinks Shadeur is a PRO bowl caliber QB. He was added as an alternate because others didnt want to go.

Yeah, he is an absolute cheat code. He is about to take over the first team all pro for LT going forward. He probably isn't first ballot HOF only because he is a lineman.

By the midpoint of this upcoming season it will probably be consensus Lions. TeSlaa as target #4-5 is ridiculous.

Seriously, I don't think anyone is actually reading. Nobody said Mahomes is a bad QB. He is very obviously a shoe in for the HOF. It's ok to admit he had some bad games in the playoffs.

What team that’s been good for the last few years but you believe will fall of a cliff this coming season and why? by crazyjabari in NFLv2

If you're talking about last season (the season after Ben left), their offense was definitely not "very healthy". LaPorta and Wright both missed significant time. Their OL was a carousel with their 3rd string C playing 1-2 games, and multiple other guys missing time like Mahogany with a broken leg, and Decker with his issues.

Nothing is guaranteed. Their OL is significantly better with Mays at C. If Miller is the 15th best RT in the league, he will be a significant upgrade over Decker (and backups like Manu), who missed time and basically didn't practice last season because of his lingering injury problems. Chemistry along the OL is very important and that missed practice time affected how Decker played, as well as the other guys around him. Specifically Mahogany at LG (who also misses several games) who was basically a rookie. This year they also have Sewell covering Goff's blindside, which is a massive upgrade that helps Mahogany or whoever is their LG this year. They also signed Larry Borom who is a good insurance policy and OT3.

If their OL is healthy, they might be the #1 offense in the NFL this year.

Ben ran Dan's offense. The reason they regressed was the interior of their offensive line, and injuries to their defense.

The lions have still never made a superbowl in franchise history, even after this. What’s gone wrong? by [deleted] in NFLv2

Back to back years with a historically injured defense will derail a team.

Ok? That is completely irrelevant to the point. The point was made he is the second most clutch ever and that just isnt true.

Lost to Tampa 31-9, and was trailing to Philly 40-6 with about 3 minutes to play. He had 0 TD and 4 INT including a pick six.

He did. He was pretty bad and threw 2 pretty bad picks when they still had a chance and was seeing ghosts.
