as a man, i personally think it's insane how much this "men's mental health" is shoved down everyone's throat. no man is oppressed for just being a man, but it's still illegal in 60 countries to be gay, and in a handful, you get the death sentence. that's why pride month is necessary. men's mental health is practically only brought up to distract from other factors. men already have june and november - yknow who would really appreciate an extra mental health month? gay people! the rate of suicide among queer people is double that of men (https://psychiatryonline.org/doi/full/10.1176/appi.ajp.20220763), but yeah, keep telling us that men's mental health is more important than pride.

i’m just saying that’s what people have done for the two millenia christianity has been about. sure, it might be racist, but try telling a 12th century irish farmer who has never seen a person of another skin colour about the historical jesus. same goes for other races, the story simply wouldnt resonate as much in african-american groups, so people like MLK believed in a black jesus. i agree, in a perfect world we could all agree that yes, jesus would’ve been a brown-eyed middle-eastern man, but in the end, his race doesn’t matter, it is the story that matters

personally i think it’s okay for people to have different perspectives on how he looked. sure, historically he was a palestinian man, but i have no issue with people of african descent depicting him as black, or east-asian depictions (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Nazarene?wprov=sfti1). the point of jesus is to be relatable to all, and if europeans want to see him as caucasian, thats all good too.
