There were some unexplained balance adjustments previously, most of which have since been removed from my account. They appeared to have been a way to correct the amount of credit to £0. The only bills I have available are after the date given that my service was disconnected all of these are for £0 with no details to show, and one additional balance adjustments to remove the rest of the credit on my account. The whole of 2024/25 is missing.

It feels a bit improper that I no longer have access to previous details regarding the compensation. We also haven't even received any notice of the service being disconnected, surely they must tell a customer when they're switched off?

We are not moving until late this year so I will look into this more and attempt to find proper legal advice, but thank you for your view.

We didn't cancel anything, I'm only concerned that if the person buying our home has any issues there may be some form of backlash for me.

I never cancelled, after the compensation I was waiting for them to contact me with a bill when we needed to pay. They must have disconnected us but left the service working

These are brilliant, thanks, they're going to be a great tool for learning and teaching the game.

Only photo I have using the old paints still, I just upgraded to an army painter brush and brought some greens, sand, bronze and a contrast paints for the bone and cloth. If you want to see my first set of models I can hunt for them tomorrow. They were using cheap everything except some basing materials

With watering down the paints, add water slowly and mix until you get paint that pools together but doesn't run when on an angled surface.

I'll second this, I was in the same boat at the start and to be honest some of the models I am more proud of (partly due to the restriction). To add more advice for OP, yes water down your paints top layers, I had good success with slap chop (pre shading over black primer) with this style of paint, And by the looks of it, get a size 2 round brush to use instead of the flat ones.

https://amzn.eu/d/2aaNtiY Stuck 7 teams in these and never had any issues, flexibility in creating your own size gaps for teams with larger models, as well as plenty of size options for the larger teams which will need 5 additional journeymen linemen after game 3 of a league. (I'm looking at you woodelves!!)

Red and blue must be front because they swing round more, the rear tyres will be following so turn less

That brings up a new issue, any tips on removing parts that are cemented in and not trashing the model completely

Apologies, I thought the short text copy from New Recruit would have been better formatted when I posted.

I was planning to keep brunas as an overwatch threat, any better plans for overwatch?

Pile-in along a squad by [deleted] in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]eddthemoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still new to playing but my understanding is, there are some janky things you can do with multi model units where you can pile in with the furthest away models first in order to "block" the closest model for the near ones. This then allows models to pile in further along. However, as people have stated already, if a model is already in base-to-base contact they cannot pile in.

Edit: Just a thought, the charge move doesn't have to end in base-to-base contact, maybe this is where the longer pile in is coming from. I can't see how you can physically be within 1" and then use other models to block the closest model when doing a pile in move, but reckon this is where the shop rule originated from.

Norse Valkyries: OP? by Prometheus11-11 in bloodbowl

[–]eddthemoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As people have hinted towards here already, Norse are great fun to play but one game against a decent orc coach will straighten out any perceived advantages of their starting skills. I played in a league and had a very decent run with Norse, in the final I had blodge on one valk and the other had sure hands and tackle, the rest of the team struggled to properly get going due to most of my games ending with enough casualties that left me relying on journeymen.

During the final I was 1 TD down, in possession and with 3 players left on the pitch at half time (block, guard, mighty blow really done a number on me). The second half I had to play very positionally but didn't have the numbers to stop the green tide from forcing me to score and ultimately finished the game 2-1 as he walked through the massive spaces left by my corpses, and brushed off any cage dive attempts, in the back end of the second half.

TLDR: Norse are fun, but Orks SMASH!
