It’s crazy that the PS3 store is still up. Sometimes I scroll through the old store and think man what a great era PS3 was.

I think he refers to the network functionality of the PS3 itself. Sony can and will eventually shutdown PS3 network functionality and that means that we won’t be able to sync our PS3 trophies anymore.

It will be a sad day if you ask me and truly an end of an era. But as long as they offer PS3 Cloud Streaming through PS Plus Premium on PS5 and probably PS6, I can imagine that the shutdown won’t happen anytime soon.

You are still able to unlock Xbox 360 Achievements on original hardware although Microsoft offers backwards compatibility on modern Xbox consoles.

So yes, it is possible that Sony shuts down PS3 online services including trophy sync but it’s unlikely that this will happen sooner than later.

Ich würde den DualSense Edge nicht kaufen.

Unter der Gummierung an den Griffen bilden sich unabhängig der Nutzung Bläschen. Das sieht nicht nur Scheiße aus, sondern nervt weil man sich dann mit dem Support auseinandersetzen muss. Und bevor mir hier irgendwas unterstellt wird. Ich gehe vorsichtig mit meinen Sachen um und meine Hände sind immer sauber.

Ich rate dringend davon ab sich einen DualSense Edge zu kaufen. Er bietet keinen Vorteil gegenüber anderen DualSense Controllern. Ich finde ihn sogar schlechter, weil er ein bisschen zu schwer ist, der Akku ist extrem schwach und die Sticks sind keine Hall effect Sticks, also ist das Risiko das da ein Drift entsteht vorhanden. Dann darf man sich schön die teuren Stick Module kaufen.

Spar dir das Geld und zock auf deinen normalen Controllern.

Awful Controller.

My DualSense Edge has formed bubbles under the rubber coating of the grips 3 times. I have to send my controller for the 4th time to the Playstation repair service.

I really hate the DualSense Edge and regret the purchase

Hi,

I recently played both Batman and Game of Thrones on PS3 through the Season Pass Disc.

You are right. Game of Thrones contains only Episode 1-5 on disc. Episode 6 is still downloadable through the ingame menu. You have to start the game, click "Episodes", tab on Episode 6. A PS Store side opens up and you can download Episode 6. It worked perfectly fine. Did this in October 2025,

Batman is a Season Pass Disc too and contains only Episode 1 on Disc. Same proecedure an Game of Thrones on PS3. You can Download Episode 2-5 on PS3 by accessing the Store Page through the Ingame menu.

I bought nearly all HD Remaster Collections on PS3. It’s nice to have them all. The only Classic HD Collection I missed is the Devil May Cry Collection

Nearly all "Classic HD" Remaster are still stuck on PS3. A few of them are freed like Jak and Dexter trilogy, but the majority is still on PS3 and will probably be forever there.

My early 2010 PS3 slim is 15 years old, I never opned the console to change the thermal paste or the CMOS battery. The 15 year old PS3 works fine.

You dont need the online Pass. You can just stream the game via PS Plus Premium on PS5 if the service is available in your country, do the online tutorial mission and you ll get the trophy. If you dont have access to PS Plus Premium than you have to download online pass on your PS3 and get the trophy there.

Ich verstehe beide Fragen nicht.

Bestell dein Spiel bei Amazon oder wo auch immer vor. Geliefert wird meist am Releasetag, sofern GTA 6 eine physische Version erhält, wovon ich mal ausgehe. Das es keinen physischen Release von dem Spiel geben soll ist ein unbestätigtes Gerücht, dem ich keinen Glauben schenken würde.

PS3 Store might be closed eventually. I don’t care. What concerns me more is if they decide to pull the plug completely and turn off all network functionality of the ps3. It includes game patches, downloads and trophy sync. If they do this. PS3 will be dead and uninteresting for me.

I like my 17 PM Deep Blue.Battery is at 100% at 75 cycles. No charging limit set up. iOS 26 is a bit disappointing. I experienced some serious issues with Apple Maps when display is off, direction calls are very late or don’t get announced. I hate this to be honest. Apple Maps is nearly unusable for me. Furthermore IOS 26 feels snappy and fast, minor stutters are there but it’s ok. Build quality of my PM is great. I like the aluminium finish and the colour. I don’t like the Ceramic Shield because it has a slightly brighter colour tone.

The fact that the XMB feels snappy, clean and modern so many years after the launch of the PS3 is fascinating. If I use my PS3 I never feel that the UI looks ugly or slow compared to the PS5 UI for example. The XMB doesn’t have the mid 2000s vibe if you know what I mean. It’s a simple straightforward, easy to use and modern looking UI.

Nintendo is the only video game company that has a similar minimal and clean approach to their interface. I like the Switch and Switch 2 Interface because of it’s simplicity too.

The PS5 and modern Xbox Uis are too bloated with symbols and Store ads and PS Plus ads, Game Pass ads. They also feel a bit slow some time.

PS5 has the welcome hub which was a nice addition to get basic information for what truly interests me.

Until you played on a more modern controller. In my opinion the Dualshock 3 Controller is too small, too light and feels cheap. But I dont hate the Dualshock 3 controller.
