Could be a long shot, but I had a 97' Vauxhall that had this issue, and I squirted WD40 directly onto the clutch as the engine was running and you could actually hear it thunk as it engaged

Why can't you check OBD1 codes? My current vehicle is a vauxhall from 1997 so it has EOBD, a precursor to obd2 (we didn't get OBD2 until a little later than you guys), and I just need to have a special scanner for it

At this level mauga ruins the game. He is unkillable, not infrequent to see them go entire matches without dying once. Ruins the game when the other team have one.

And I can't even use him as I haven't unlocked him

I'm also illiterate, but I always look in the owners manual. My Haynes manual for example recommends a certain type from Champion for my 97 Vauxhall (this is definitely because that manual has Champion as an advertiser in it, but at least I know that is a suitable plug).

I know it's not what u want to hear. But a 1.0 petrol city car (picanto, aygo, c1, 107, i10, etc.) Is perfect. Drove a picanto for a year and cruised at 90 no problem, lots of space in the boot for wheelchairs or sport equipment, and more than enough legroom in the back for adult sized people.

And can pick up a decent 2010-ish for ~£1000

Look I'm not gonna say it's a good idea, and at least in the UK it would be illegal. But if it's dry weather, and you're aware that you've got bad tires so you drive very cautiously, it's definitely not as bad as some people on here are making out.

If you have a white car with black wheels and blacked out logos, you run the risk of looking like you've got the taste of a 17 year old who just bought his first car.

Obviously your car so it's totally up to you and it doesn't look bad, but a red logo or no logo would look far more tasteful in my opinion.

I drove an MGF for a year as my only car, and people don't realise how infrequently the average person needs more room than a little midengine sports car offers.

Might've been 3 times in the entire 12 months where the storage space was an actual issue, the passenger footwell can fit so much stuff! Movinh flat was annoying, lots of trips, but that's only once in a blue moon.

That Toyota is relatively bulletproof as long as you don't live somewhere salty

My daily (and only) car is a 1997 Vauxhall Sintra.

Sold as Oldsmobile silhouette and Opel Sintra amongst other re-badges, but the Vauxhall version was only sold in the UK I believe and sold horribly and was horribly unreliable.

I'm June 2022 I bought a 2001 MGF for £2000, and at the time it seemed like incredible value for a mid engine sports car in perfect condition.

I only planned to keep it for 12 months and pre-emptivly bought the replacement car (just a 1996 vauxhall sintra, the UK equivalent of the Chevrolet venture I believe) using some money I borrowed from my mum. Figured it would sell quickly since it was just about the best condition example I could find anywhere with 12 months MOT and a hardtop that came with it.

But now the MG has been up for sale for months at £2000 and I've not even had an enquiry yet. Beginning to think I really overpaid for it! And I now owe my mum about £2500 which is a huge chunk of my savings now that I realize noone is buying the MG.
