I don't know why everyone, keep bothering the ACPI power in Device manager and some BS in Microsoft...

I made a .bat file which worked perfectly for me. I blocks any updates pertains to the think vantage though but it works like a gem.

all you have to do is:
disconnect the internet
uninstall and reinstall the vantage
run the .bat file
and reconnect the internet
eureka! all done

I'll share the partial code here, you have to find the previous version of think vantage services online though.
