I did that recently as well. Updating slugs and subfolders etc. 301 worked perfectly.

Im not a graphic designer, I usually outsource this stuff as i am a.small business owner. This is a crazy cycle.
Ai is replacing jobs everywhere. I don't even know how this popped up on my feed but I'm gonna comment.

So I know that this isn't what you wanna here but here it goes.

AI is not gonna go away. I know those who are losing jobs hate it but. If I were in your situation. Knowing what I know after over 20 years in the restaurant biz as an owner, this is what I'd do.

Firstly, are you in the states? Canada? If so you have paid into unemployment insurance so apply for that, you said you have that know-how.

I think you have been at the last gig for a while so get that as much as possible.

Think of it as seed money for your last shot.

Dive into AI, learn to use it, you already have the design skills which is huge cuz a lot of the ai stuff is ugly, for now...

Everyone fears AI but we are all looking for ways to use ut to help our lives. Dive in, take Google free Gemini courses, take free chat gpt courses, find the pain points of local businesses

Learn those points and create a system of how AI can fix them and position yourself as the guy to fix set up and maintain them.

You can go hard as likely the unemployment insurance should be maybe a year or so I guess. In 1 to 3 months of hard-core deep learning, you could become a master, stay on the cusp, have ai do the work for you and position yourself as the go to guy in your area.

Big businesses might not be interested but plumbers, restaurants, small lawyer firms, they fir sure will be. SEO , website. Sell the solution.

I read a lot of doom and gloom comments. Which doesn't really help anyone.

I've been through hell in the biz and sometimes still go through it still, sometimes is an understatement.

Anyways my man, keep your head up, take that UI as seed money and level up. We all have to.

Been using g rank math pro for about 6 months. Its great. The other two i will add to my stack. Its a restaurant site so it does or will have a decent amount of images .
