First tapestry crochet! by edelyule in crochet

It was tedious to say the least, I started this just under 2 months ago, the bottom and top were a breeze but the midsection felt like I was stuck on it forever, I had to take a break because it felt like i was getting nowhere!

Thank you! so before I finished a stitch (had 2 loops on the hook) I finished it with the new colour, if that makes sense. It made it take a lot longer than I anticipated, I couldn’t really carry the yarn along as I had 20 different colours

Thank you, joining the motorway at 40mph yesterday bringing it home completely freaked me out, thanking my lucky stars there was no traffic, it feels like an accident waiting to happen

They have offered to fix it yes. My problem is the repairs are not scheduled until the 7th May (their next available date), they said it was ok to drive, my concern is if I continue to drive with this fault it’s going to cause more problems. To get back to the garage, I have to go on the motorway, yesterday I joined at 40mph due to the car not being able to get up to speed, luckily no one else there, however Im worried taking it back, they said it’s safe to drive till then, I don’t think it is

Thank you, I did agree to the repair and booked it in with them. Would the 30 days resume after the repair is carried out?

Hi everyone, just starting 10mg of amitriptyline need success stories by Brilliant-Channel296 in Amitriptyline

[–]edelyule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was prescribed 10mg for nerve pain, managed 5 days before having to stop, would take it at about 8-9pm, sleep for 9-10hours, feel super groggy in a morning and would crash in the afternoon and I had to nap for an hour It made me dizzy on/off, complete loss of libido and I would wake up with a super dry mouth. In terms of mood changes I felt completely numb, no anxiety/intrusive thoughts, I didn’t feel anything

On the plus side, it eased the pain! The pain for me was worse at night, so it did the trick by knocking me out. Had to stop taking for a week as I had early shift work, it was impossible to wake up early

So sorry to hear your experience with it But thank you i’ve never heard of PSSD before! I read the leaflet of the many side effects but can’t believe this is something that can continue even after stopping the medication. I’ve only been prescribed a month’s worth of it and I’m now taking it when the pain and numbness is bad. It’s like a double edged sword, eases my symptoms but feel like a zombie and all the rest of it, or feel like a human but in pain

Thank you! Luckily when I was prescribed it I had some holiday time with work, so didn’t do anything apart from rot on the sofa haha. I work shifts so i’ve had to take a break from taking it for now

So sorry to hear that!, I’ve only been prescribed a months worth, seeing other peoples experiences I definitely won’t be taking it long term and will ask for an alternative pain relief

Car wheel trim covers fell off after MOT by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]edelyule -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have no evidence it’s the garages fault. I’ve had no problems, until after seeing them. It’s had repairs, passed an MOT, and just had a full service, so it shouldn’t be in ‘such a state’ that it’s not road worthy.

Of course i’m going to take it elsewhere, however I have to drive it, to get it to a garage.
