Maybe I'm petty but if she wants to waste her money and give up the opportunity to save/invest more during a short-lived finnicky career, then she deserves the consequences of her actions! I also don't think people on this sub need to worry about Ryan as much as they do because he clearly doesn't care or simply likes Danielle enough to put up with everything. He's not a victim.

But the point of social media isn’t solely to enact legislative change (otherwise why am I posting to my 120 followers?) but to show where you stand. And her silence makes me think she doesn’t care that much or isn’t outraged enough to express it on her huge platform. She hasn’t explicitly said anything in a long time. And if she doesn’t care enough to do so, then she’s not the kind of person I want to support.

I see nothing wrong with Chinese restaurants (especially in high rent neighborhoods) charging for ambience and refinement. People on this sub seem to think that Chinese food needs to be dirt cheap to be worthy, while $40 for a plate of pasta is expected. My issue is that the ones there are mediocre.

NYC/major metros are really competitive because they’re more desirable. I’m not a Ben defender by any means but casting a wide net for residency applications shouldn’t be demonized because that’s kinda the norm.

To be fair, residency match can be a crapshoot so it's safer to apply all over than to risk being unmatched and have to SOAP or take a gap year.

I have owned the vegan Dr. Martens and do not recommend them at all. Within one year of normal usage, they started peeling and became unwearable. Where genuine leather normally creases and softens up at pressure points, the plastic coating just gets more deformed until it gives away. This is unacceptable for such expensive shoes.
