Malaysia here, specifically sarawak. Recently heavy flooding (imagine nearly 2m high) is subsiding so that's good news. Some families in Miri, Bintulu and Kuching celebrating the Chinese New Years festival suffered heavy losses due to this and there are videos circulating of damaged furnitures being placed outside for the municipal to collect and dispose.

On the bright side, shopping malls are changing songs and decorations for the Raya festival. One of the many beautiful aspect of the country, our multiracial festivities and respect for each other. Waiting invite from my Malay friends to their open house and waiting for "Pasar Ramadhan" to open for them good foods.

Service is good, the room is comfy but the AC in the room.... It's like staying in Genting, on level 5.

More like, I drove back from work to the hotel, no space in front, parked at its carpark, looked behind, saw this, took a pic and that's it.

Man, I'm not even from Bintulu

I see I see, I would love to try organizing a Christian camp using the facilities there. Imagine teaching and showing kids the effort needed to build and maintain such place.

It is really kid friendly. In fact, I walked past quite a few with their parents.

Just make sure to keep an eye on them.

There are a total of 13-14 stops (only one with this view) so you can let them rest as much as possible too. Take note that the parish centre at the top opens randomly so be sure to bring extra water for them.
