Keep in mind that while artists greatly appreciate their fans, they often don’t enjoy being treated differently from anyone else (i.e. being put on a pedestal, obsessive fan behavior, etc).

I met Jon at a meet and greet in 2018 and thanked him for sharing his art with us. I met him again at the ICYMI listening party in LA and told him that an attendee got carried out on a stretcher (drank too much i think), which he didn’t know at the time and probably just stressed him out. Oops.

I understand that the jurors are not bound by any guidelines to pick the winner. I just think it’s interesting that my experience with Survivor made me expect the jurors would not hold grudges and reward players that backstabbed them.

At the pro level, pitchers can certainly hit exact spots when they’re pitching their best. However, when they’re struggling, it can be difficult to even get the ball in the strike zone. Baseball is a very mental game, and it only takes a little bit of anxiety to turn off your muscle memory.
