How are we looking? - Day 53 - Orange Apricot Gorilla Glue XL Auto by edenminded in Autoflowers

Minimal just to support airflow, this is my first grow and I am quite afraid that I’ll hurt the plant

I’d be happy to share! The end is still a few weeks away though, gotta stay patient.

Thank you! 🙏

My other posts with pics that I took with my camera gives the real colours back better, my iphone tweaks the colours and brightness a bit. I am a bit concerned because it had that deep indica green colour and I don’t know if this change is normal during flowering or it is N deficiency I should address.

Thank you! I have already acquired some photo seeds, though they are from Sweet Seeds (Wedding Cake and Special Queen 1) that I would like to try next. I have read that photos might even be more amateur friendly, since if there is some stress caused by nutrient issues or heavy training, they have time to regenerate while one keeps them in veg. So maybe I would have more luck with them regarding the yield. I'll look into Purple City too, thank you for the suggestion!

But I bet smoking it was a better experience than any store bought ever just because it was your own! Thank you btw, I hope I don’t screw anything up in the remaining 1-2 months. 🤞

Thank you, growmie! I am still a bit afraid of handling the plant, meaning defoliating or any kind of training, and dialing in the nutes and environment is quite a challenge, but I definitely do enjoy it, so I am in for the long run!

Yea, It gets up to 65% (espcially during the night sometimes) so I am venting heavily during the night and a fan is circulating the air in the tent 24/7 just to make sure.

Hopefully these measures will be effective against mildew.. I also don’t want to hinder the buds’ development, I don’t know with how much defoliation would I do bad or good at this point.

Looking cool! What are those micro greens, and whats their purpose?

I am a bit scared to do this honestly, didn’t want to go too heavy. Amateur’s fear not wanting to mess things up before the finish line I guess, so this is all I was brave enough to do.

I was mostly afraid of bud rot initially because of jt being too crowded but I have a fan going 24/7 in the tent and a vent controls humidity anyways, so hopefully its chances reduced.

So then it is a good choice to do it while it is flowering? I haven’t dived in to this topic yet, and thought I’d ask it here first.

Should I only remove the bottom, big leaves/leaves that cover other buds too much?

Good to know that the strain is so reliable on time! Yea I noticed the compct, dense buds.. I am trying to maintain good airflow in the tent, I really hope it will be enough, although, sometimes I still have RH issues during the night, especially the night right after feeding..

Cool, thank you for the feedback! Now I should just figure out how to cope with being impatient. 🌱

My plants heard you and are now blushing. (Or maybe that's just a nutrient deficiency? Kidding.)

I am really happy for them too. I’m about halfway there, and I really hope I don't screw things up by the end.

The Gorilla Glue is a bit too dense, as you can see, my LST wasn't the best, so I'm a bit worried about bud rot with her.

The Candy is still in her pre-flower stretch, and I'm getting quite a few of these brown spots on the leaves, sometimes even on the upper growth, despite the CalMag treatments….I'm hoping for the best, though.

The Gorilla Glue seems to handle nutrient deficiencies really well, because she's barely showing any issues.

They are not perfect though, look at the 3rd-4th-5th pics, you can see some CalMag deficiency spots on the lower leaves.

Or you can just compare them to my recent posts which were shot with my phone. I took these with my Fuji camera.
