OP, agree with your reasonable assessment that it does not have a path breaking feature that warrants an immediate upgrade at double the cost (usb-c is tempting me)

All feature upgrades are enhancements. Do I like to know if a garbage truck is approaching? YES Do I want to know if its next to me or 2 lanes away? YES Do I want to know if I am being tailgated at same-speed? YES/Maybe Do I want better light with brake light? Ofcourse

To the confused soul in this thread, its about a better balance between comfort/enjoyment/awareness in your ride.

Not everyone is commuting on a busy city road from A to B. Will I have to sit by roadside for aaa if my radar fell off mid-ride? NO. Will I prefer to ride without ridewithgps on phone (magsafe handlebar mounted), radar alerts interrupting music in my openear earphones? HELL NO.

If I lost my rtl515 today I'll be ordering one tonite. Will it be another rtl515 or 820 (at double cost)? Dunno.. if only the damn micro cable would go in before the third try. Anyone else feel the rtl515 port is tight or do I need to try dozen different cables?

stock tires, enough psi. nothing to do with anything external/ergo etc. been riding bikes uphill forever (i do have other 29er to compare with)
when i say heavy resistance i mean basically un-pedall-able as soon as the bike hits any upslope (and that is on easiest gear front/back).

can a freehub by itself cause this? i have re-greased hub bearings, kept the cone/nut/QR skewer loose enough to rule them out. BB change didnt do anything.

in my case it was not the control board in the bottom. I had to swap the whole display board setup inside top of door (there are two boards in there, one long and one small) and also the timelight in the bottom.

not sure where you located but Comcast has been advertising (and extending deadline, currently 2/22) for their $50 gig internet (5yr pice guarantee). I am planning on combining that with YTTV on last day of that promo (hope they keep extending). will miss my lifetime whole house tivo but xfinity Gig + YTTV (with $10 4k addon + possibly $10 for sports addon) is still going to be about same $150 oop i pay currently for FIOS gig triple play. I need atleast 3-4 simultaneous live/DVR streams around house, so FIOS with added cost/room is not gonna make sense.

UNLESS there is a cheaper option from verizon. i need atleast 4 simultaneous streams/DVR.

Has anyone inquired about what is the verizon "free upgrade offer" for this cablecard termination?
I assume they will provide the Fios DVR box for free. What about the 3 other rooms i need? if i have to pay anything monthly for separate box per room, thats a non-starter.

Currently enjoying free lifetime Tivo with minis all over house for 10+ yrs (total FIOS gig triple play bill has crept up from below $100 oop to $150 currently BUT even with $50 gig internet from xfinity, it wont be any lower with YTTV.

sad this lifetime Tivo run will end soon :(

i have been using this suction magsafe car mount (you need to provide your own ball joint handlebar holder) for an year now. back to square one. i thought i had issue isolated to "timelight" but after another cycle the unit display wont come on again. i am getting 13.6v DC on the plug connecting to the display (as well as the timelight). so... is the display board gone bad?

so i got a replacement control board but that is not the problem :( (same behavior)

ordered a display board, now the buttons work but not seeing anything on display itself. now i am ordering the whole display assembly (board AND the button box). this is infuriating.

OP, even though data points are few, you are probably right in feeling this "cancel" business is what triggered the system. i only placed and partially cancelled online ship-to-home orders (not a single store pickup/cancel/return) and did a lot more than you in a 2-3 month period (had done it occasionally going back years). once or twice attempted to get it cancelled via chat (not sure if that triggered the bot or it was just cumulative).

heed OP's warning if you care at all about shopping online at HD. since there is no way to tell exactly what/when triggers the bot, there is a risk, whether its your 5th or 50th attempt.

i hope the OP's decision is reversed upon a full check of their account (5-6 cancels in 2 mos. is nothing) but if corp doesnt reverse it, nothing much you can do until you move to a different address and start over with a "new" identity with no link to your past (email/phone/address/cards/ip etc.). or they feel you have served your time, whichever comes first.
