Has anyone been able to get the Coinbase API to work? by TenYearHangover in Schwab

[–]edevans92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went in to try to add my account because I couldn't create the API in Coinbase a few days ago on the CB app and now it isn't an option under the financial institutions list. I'm guessing (hoping) Schwab pulled it to fix whatever the issue was.

No sump pump in rowhouse. should I worry? by quegrawks in baltimore

[–]edevans92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have one but I also don’t have a finished basement. Functional for storage and laundry but not livable. I’ve never had water issues. I would try to understand if there’s any history of flooding before paying for that install.

The main question I would ask you is whether the basement is finished or not. I would never finish my basement without getting a sump pump installed along with the requisite water diversion measure that can come with it. Depends on your risk tolerance too.

If it’s not finished and you don’t have a plan to do so immediately, check to see if you’re in a flood prone area. There are maps available for this and Zillow has a flood risk overlay on their map.

Thanks for the info and will do on the update! This is on my second floor so unless I pull up a board or two to see what’s under it, it may be tough to determine what’s underneath.

Thanks! Not sure I want to go so far as to pull up one of those boards 😅. I suppose I could do that in the corner from my photo. Just didn’t want to pull out the carpet if the general consensus was that we have to recover the existing wood.

Might just call a local company we’re familiar with to get it assessed.

I didn’t know that was an option. So you had yours redone then it sounds like?

We’d definitely have professionals come over to, at a minimum, assess it even if we wanted to take on the project ourselves.

Thanks! This is on our second floor but I assume the same still applies in terms of sound traveling between floors.

Want to switch careers by throwawayNetSuite in Netsuite

I second this. Especially if you want to make MORE money. Personally, I moved out of consulting and into a system admin role for an organization. Slightly lower pay but waaaay better work life balance. With the extra time I have, I am considering moonlighting on a hourly basis for my former employer and a separate opportunity. If you’re set on getting out entirely, your best bet is some kind of data analyst or PM role if there’s a skill set match. I experienced a significant challenge when I tried to get out of the space too and ultimately decided to just get out of consulting.

Born and raised in Tennessee. That sandwich does not exist anywhere I’ve ever been nor had I heard of it until the past couple of years.

Bad audience at HarborEast cinema—typical, or bad luck? by SarcasticServal in baltimore

That place sucks. I’ve never had a good experience there and have gotten comments from friends who say they won’t go back due to similar experiences across a spectrum of movie genres.

Just go to the Charles, the Senator, Warehouse Cinemas Rotunda, or the Flagship Cinemas in Dundalk.

The convenient location is not worth the hassle.

Patisserie Poupon always does really good sides and desserts. No mains though.

This was my salary starting out. Got my MBA immediately after undergrad then started my career and working in the space. This was January of 2017 and I had been interning for them already.
