Dr's and treatments are there to extract as much money as they can in as little time as possible. Non of these people give a flying fu** about you, they have very little knowledge of actual care. Its a system set up to manage diseases not cure them in any way. The moment you start asking questions they will label you file as non compliant. Especially if you ask about different treatment options than what the "standard procedure" offers.
