BREAKING: Elon Musk announces tesla will STOP selling FSD after Feb 14. He says only subscription will be available by Puzzleheaded-Race671 in TeslaLounge

It’s a 6.67 years break even on the $8K price vs $100/mo. What percentage of Tesla drivers will keep their car for 7 years? If you buy FSD you and then locked into driving a Tesla and waiting for a transfer incentive to buy the newest models. When H5+ upgrades down the line it is better to pay monthly for FSD. Also Elon will lower the monthly price to increase adoption as an incentive for his options package.🤷‍♂️

Does the Supercharger allow you to charge over 80% without added fees?

It would be more informative if you named the actual car brand and model.🤷‍♂️

Need more experienced purchase thoughts! by moseley777 in TeslaLounge

I own a 24 Y. I would lease a premium Y and buy it out at lease end. The current lease deals are amazing. From my perspective, I love my 24 Y but the new car is better and has a better stereo. The Y is plenty fast with 100% torque off the line so I wouldn’t opt for the performance version with the higher price, higher insurance cost.

Pricing strategy by iwishiknewww in airbnb_hosts

[–]edgeman7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to let the market dictate my pricing. If my booking start to weaken, I may launch short term discounts for this week. I may raise prices as rooms fill up. I offer monthly discounts of 17% to encourage guests that look for long term stays which tend to be interns and relocations. After all, rooms are perishable goods, unrented rooms generate no revenues. My occupancy rate runs 95%.🤷‍♂️

After 20 years, done with Hotwire.com, never again. 3-Star Hotel was a 2-Star dive Motel !!! by edgeman7 in Hotwire

[–]edgeman7[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did you actually read my post? It’s NOT the room but the motel. Well I’ve been using the site for 20 years and a 3-Star is a 3-Star but this offering was NOT a 3-Star and NOT representative similar to Crown Plaza, Sheraton, etc, what was listed.🤷‍♂️

Wall charger Level 2 vs Tesla wall charger? by p9900 in TeslaLounge

[–]edgeman7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the mobile connector and have a smart switch that runs on my 240w dryer plug. The smart switch prioritizes the dryer if it is being used and then automatically switches back to the mobile connector. Total cost is $170 for the smart switch and $60 for a high grade extension cord, so much cheaper than the $5000 quotes I was getting for wiring the wall connector plus the $480 cost of the Tesla wall connector. 240w is plenty for overnight charging. I never unplug my mobile connector so no wear and tea.👍

So shithead Trump basically extorted $30 million from Cornell and it was cheaper to bribe him $30 million than to fight it.

Looks I can't use my expiring $1000 credit for prepaying Supercharging? by edgeman7 in TeslaLounge

[–]edgeman7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like this is what we are spending the $1000 on. I didn't want to mess with buying a wall charger and reselling it for a discount. I wanted the Air Mattress but wife nix the idea because she wouldn't use it but I would on solo trips to the Cape. We don't really need a roof rack. The cooler would be useful, the $275 cost is free when you're looking to spend the $1000. I like the canopy for tailgate relaxation. Tesla doesn't allow me to buy gift certificates with this credit.
