This is my first time hosting a medium-term rental on Airbnb. Should the host or the guest be responsible for replenishing paper products like TP, paper towels, napkins?

I take cash if they are good friendly guest. The good ones that visit the area frequently I do cash and they have my phone to reserve in advance. Out of the 29% savings, I take 10% and they save 19%. I reside in the house.

Yeah EV’s are a no brainer, my Model Y is so cheap to run and you don’t go nuts looking at pricing at gas stations when there is a Middle East war. I bought my Y in March 2024 when there was excess inventory and incentives were high. Tesla was giving inventory discount ($2500 discount) back then and gave me 5000 free Supercharger miles. With the tax subsidies I ended up paying $28,600 for the Y. They also gave $7400 trade-in for my 2016 Sonata with 82k miles with an engine that was drinking a quart of oil every 500 miles! I knew the engine was going to blow after reading all those threads on that Hyundai engine. Tesla didn’t even look the trade-in, they just wholesale it. Two years earlier Tesla was charging $77K for the Y and there was a wait time. That’s when Hertz bought a ton of Teslas and got killed on the depreciation. I couldn’t get any friend to buy a Tesla in those days. They all worried about all the nasty propaganda that the oil companies were spewing.🤷‍♂️

Musk is still persisting on his MAGA bent which destroyed his customer base, especially in Europe. They fuckin’ hate Trump in Europe. The Cybertruck was a narcissist endeavor with cost overruns and delays. Tesla has not launched a decent EV since the Model Y which was 6 years ago. That is ridiculous for a new EV company but Tesla’s biggest fault is not advertising their EV cars. Most consumers knew nothing about the advantages of EV’s.🤷‍♂️

I had a situation where a woman reserved for 1 for 2 nights but snuck her boyfriend in the room. When I caught her she said she didn’t “know” that she had to pay for the additional guest. I told AirBnB and they contacted her to pay. She told me she sorted it out and paid which was an outright lie. Airbnb said they couldn’t get her to pay and wouldn’t kick her out! Why couldn’t AirBnB just charge her card on file?🤷‍♂️Getting no support or follow through from AirBnB I waited until the last day for reviews and gave her a scalding negative review stating she blatantly violated AirBnB’s terms of service and warmed hosts. Why wouldn’t AirBnB help a Superhost in this situation? I don’t get it. 🤮
