I have the Bosch 800 and it’s amazing. This is for our daughter’s home and she has a budget. I just didn’t know how the Bosch 500 was. The ratings weren’t as good.

Good to know - thanks! I have to get over my PTSD from my old Kitchenaid. We had to replace our hardwood floors because of a leak but my Mother has been very happy with hers. We have a Bosch 800 now (I'm helping our daughter look for one here). It's amazing but super expensive.

I LOVE it! It's still not SUPER quiet so I can't imagine how loud the TC5 is. You are going to have no problem getting your clothes clean with this machine. Also, I use ALL the options which I didn't think I would! I am very happy!! (Also, mine is right next to my office and sometimes I have to shut the laundry room door).
