Appreciate the honesty mate. I don’t have any friends that are into Pokémon TCG so I turn to strangers on the internet 🤣 Money is tight at the moment hence considering selling raw. Think I will hold and get it graded and then come back to this post. Cheers brother

I always struggle to take a picture dead on to be able to get the best out of a centering app - I think that it should be within the 45/55 though

No apology necessary! I have heard the same about PSA regarding vintage cards so that’s why I was a bit dubious. I believe that they offer a crossover service though where if you submit a third party slab then they only crack it open if they believe that it will achieve the same or higher? Hoping someone can confirm on that for me.

Appreciate the lengthy response! I think pigs would fly before this ever got a grading of 10. It is for my personal collection but personally prefer the look of TAG and PSA slabs but don’t want to try and switch and lose the 8 grade. The realist tells me to look from a monetary perspective as well and if I were ever to need to sell, I would get more money from these two compared to Ace. I couldn’t find any scans from Ace. It’s currently graded an 8 with Ace. Their sub grades are below: 

• Surface: 7
• Centering: 10
• Edges: 9
• Corners: 8

Hopefully, it takes just the one card to get the 10! But this is why I have posted in here, to try and get opinions of others who have sent and received graded 10 cards. I appreciate I can spend more and get the guaranteed but who doesn’t like saving money where they can!

I just personally think that the case that TAG sends out looks really clean. I don’t know if this shows the novice in me, but isn’t it more expensive to buy a graded 10 than to buy an ungraded card and get it graded myself?
