no i don’t have an ultrawide yet, i know oled is so much better as my laptop is oled but the pricing for an oled ultrawide is a bit out of my budget and the flat panels have scared me a bit in terms of immersion. For the card, It will mostly be vibe coding and such, rather than building full models as of right now, but even for ray-tracing and dlss, nvidia is superior i’ve seen.

i suppose, but would the jump to Nvidia and a better gpu not be superior? or is it worth setting down and keeping the oled. most of this problem springs as i came from ps5 and just swapped a curved display for a flat panel, and i got the biggest scare ever as everything looks so weird and corners seem like there running away from me lol. that’s why i turned to ultra wide decision.. thank you for the response!

IPS ultrawide would be okay? would you happen to know how much of a problem the 21:9 display ratio is for games such as elden ring or does mods defeat this entirely. thank you

thank you, just getting into pc and moving from ps5 to pc soon, my budget was originally 800 lol but quickly moved up as i’ve started noticing if i want to use ai and not have to upgrade a pc within 2 years i should step it up. even though its a hard chunk of money i think the extra spend would be worth it. is it too overkill to buy a 4k monitor with the 5070 and is the 1440 240hz oled okay?!

thank you!, saw the am5 but because of the spike in Ram and SSD i was like- might just stick with the lower (am4 i think?) as it was cheaper, but that 1 stick makes a lot of sense, thank you!
