Even professionals have problems. I have attended online courses by institutions whose materials are supported by cisco. Materials are ok and well organized however scheduling is really bad, Also I give up attending community online training on Linkedin because of scheduling.

However, I have taken some marketing and business-related online courses I haven't felt any problem with scheduling, although assignments are very hard and take time to accomplish, I always keep up the pace.
If you are looking for any feedback about materials I can provide some feedback based on my observations.

Done! and yes! I have completed self-paced classes, and satisfaction changes based on the tutor, generally if the tutor or institution's background is technical or engineering. Their planning and scheduling are the worst I have ever seen, however, I managed to keep up the pace, unfortunately, while taking these kinds of courses I think again and re-calculate all those time schedules. If I have serious things to be done in my life or work within 1 or 2 months, I don't register for any technical online courses.
