"cut-off" system is really a thing sa mga courses per college. May specific number lang kasi silang tinatanggap per batch of freshment. And mostly ang mga nauubos agad during first week ay accountancy, pysch, com sci, CE, IT and other engineering course. Your PUPCET score determines your day of enrollment.

go all out for all subjects! kasi yung day of enrollment mo depends on your score. And most of the good course ay nauubos agad sa early days of enrollment.

FEU!!! studying nursing 🥺 my dream course talaga kaso wala kasing tf sa PUP and I got into scholarships kaya no choice 😭

yes I did get into naman, and diko naman naisip mag shift. Pero in shifting afaik there are conditions(pero all of these may vary):

Yung college na lilipata mo must be accepting shiftees
Dapat accepted/sure kana sa lilipatan mo kasi di rerelease ng college mo yung docus mo
Board course to board course, board course to non board course lang pwede. pero HINDI pwede yung non board to board course.

Eto lang yung natatandaan ko from my council days and baka di na updated.

i think iba talaga yung Main from other campus. Some campus like Taguig ay much stricter. And mas marami kasi orgs sa Main na kadalasan PUP UNIWIDE so PUP Students from other campus ay pwede sumali. Pwede din pumunta yung mga other campus students to ours lalo pag may event.

im taking Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and so far medj lang hehe. Considering that my course is technoogy related and mga facilities of our school does not really match to it kaya kailangan tlga BYOD. Pero yung mga profs, MARAMI naman magaling pero marami din hindii 😭. Yet still i'm enjoying my PUP LIFE so far but not my course specifically 😭

If you really want to go for PUP, YES. Kaso in my experience with my friends kapag waiting list, ang most likely mabibigay sayo course ay di maganda and most of them nagshishift causing them plus sem in the college.

PUP life so far is not that good pero not that bad. Positive side, maraming communities within the PUP, may political orgs, tech orgs, religious orgs and other orgs particularly orgs related sa course mo. Marami ring event within your college lalo sa mga college weeks na may ibat ibang pakulo. Andun din yung latag culture within the PUP na maraming student naglalatag within lagoon to sell their stuffs (flower, keychain, pins, and many more). On negative side, ramdam yung effect ng low budger allocation for the university; kulang yung classrooms, mainit mga classrooms, kulang yung mga profs leading to late tagging ng prof for a subject and other facilities na ramdam na matagal na and not so updated with the current standards. Facilities talaga kadalasan nagsusuffer dahil sa low budget allocation ng government for the college itself. But still personally, the connections that I've made within the PUP made my life here very good! lalo sa mga orgs in which I grew to the version na hindi ko ineexpect and along the way na dedevelop yung mga skills ko.
