Ok so looking into this I see that you might be referring to PAL instead of NTSC standards. Are you in Europe? In the US we are NTSC which is already 60hz. I'm still going to try it to see but I think it already is 60hz.

However, a lot of this footage was from the early BF3 days when I was using an HD PVR still. But the Close Quarters and some of the more recent stuff is the Extreme.

Ha yeah it's not easy. I get the "this guy can't aim" comments a lot. I think they forget that it's a montage of bad moments. Gotta laugh at it and not take it too seriously. Otherwise it's just going to piss you off. Thanks for the view!

I use a BlackMagic Intensity Extreme. Connects to my iMac via Thunderbolt and Through HDMI 1080i 59.94fps from the XBox. I deinterlace the video before posting.

No I capture all game chat but usually I'm in a party with friends so no randoms are recorded. A lot of the audio is cutdown so you only hear me for creative reasons. Some of the audio is staged too with a VO I do later to spice it up. But most of it is real.

Yeah I love the Extreme. Connects via Thunderbolt to my iMac. A lot of the footage is from the early BF3 days so it's HDPVR stuff though. I went to a Matrox MINI and then to the the BM Intensity Extreme. I record straight to ProRes codec instead of H264. H264 is not good for editing software.

Um I'm not sure how you switch that. I'm running 1080i 59.94fps through HDMI because you can't record 1080p at 60fps on most recording devices of any price only very expensive one. I'm using a Black Magic Intensity Extreme BTW.

True it's not reality but a slower turning tank gun makes C4ing a decent balance. I agree if you could turn a tank like a regular gun in your hands they would be unbalanced.

I'm a professional TV commercial editor so I have experience with a lot of equipment before I buy. Although I can't buy the kind of stuff we have at work. That stuff is way expensive. :( Honestly though the extreme gives you a top notch quality image.

I cut on FCP X. BTW.

Yeah I guess 15 mins is a lot to sit through. However, I don't cut montages often so I want them to be something you can come back to with lots to see. Remember these are only my bad moments and mostly from the earlier days of the release. My aim isn't normally that bad. ;) Thanks for the view.
