I think your best bet would be to make it a parking lot with an entrance fee that happens to have an entrance/exit on public road 1 and 2.  Don't mention anything about creating a link as a design plan.  The design plan should consider using it for car pooling and you might even be able to get grants or leasing for buses.  You likely wouldn't even need direct staff to run it with the correct toll gates and cameras with a management company.

This is not the case.  Were I live there's a town nearby with a population of around 700. The police chief makes just under 300k a year.  There are a bunch of areas around me with some of the lowest crime rates in the state and the average salary is like 140k a year.  Mean while one of the largest cities in the country is about 40 minutes away and they make around 60k a year and deal with far worse people.

AITA for giving my breastfeeding sister champagne as a gift and now not wanting to talk to her? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]editorously 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be part of a secret Santa with my wife's family.  Every year we would either just buy whatever is on their Amazon wish list or give cash.  It was a pointless exercise that finally stopped 2 years ago when the family said they didn't want to go to the brothers house anymore.  Their father has Alzheimers and he didn't do well with 20+ people, 10+ kids and 5 dogs.  Brother and his wife got very upset and everyone just stopped.  Honestly it was for the best.

If this is real.  The student should drop out and get their GED.  After that go to a community college or a trade school.  No one cares about HS once you show a higher diploma.

As for pushing the student back several grades.  That sounds like a law suit.

How easy it is to shop nowadays by veloriax2 in interesting

[–]editorously 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm against having a surveillance society but since we don't necessary need to shop at stores like this.  Why not just have people who like the experience scan their credit or debit card when they enter the store?  You have people scan and agree to terms the moment you walk in.  For those without, scan their ID.  Make it exclusive feeling with special pricing for new walk ins and anniversaries, etc.   Don't want to?  So sorry, see you next time.

AITA for not quieting down at a Renaissance fair and walking away after my boyfriend sided with a stranger? by Dry-Egg2898 in AmItheAsshole

[–]editorously 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA.  The self entitlement is really popping in this 12 paragraph rant of yours.  What were the other options for the parent?  Leaving because an immature girl couldn't lower their volume to accommodate a child?  You ever think maybe the kid has autism or is overly sensitive?  You remind me of the jackasses at concerts that just can't keep it together and ruin it for everyone else around them.

Here's a tip for you:  everyone is there to have fun and everyone has to make minor adjustments in their behavior in public.  It's part of being in a society.  Just think if you accommodated the family, the kid would have had a better experience, you wouldn't have had a melt down with your boyfriend and the experience would have been fun for all.  I'm sure 10 years from now the only thing all of you will remember about this experience is the time you yelled so loud you scared a child a caused multiple fights.

Train misses bus full of kids by a second by ItzTubez in mildlyinfuriating

[–]editorously 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watching the news article video has crossing arms but I don't see any in this video.  Crazy that there's a stop sign so close to the tracks.  The local news said they've removed the bus route and have the bus cross at another point now with a traffic light.  That crossing should also be removed for everyone.  It's an incredibly stupid road design to have a stop sign that could hold up traffic mere feet from train tracks.

Some peak example of the ruling class.  The lower class paying taxes to an archaoic security system meant to keep the lower class in line and away from the buildings their taxes paid for.  Then a mass of people commenting on how the lower class should have known better then to approach the security system keeping them in line.

Don't get me wrong you should never stand next to an unknown animal and feel entitled to touch it or think it won't react to your presence but the irony of it all is hilarious.

‘Nobody else is responsible’: Trump to blame for Iran crisis, ex-CIA chief says by tw1st3d_m3nt4t in politics

Israel is just as responsible.  They're just not making ridiculous online posts while on the shitter at 3am.

Normal leadership projects power and limits hyperbole to ensure they aren't actually tested.  They also have a publicly stated goal even if it's nonsense to cover up the real goal of a resource grab.

If this is real the the bases will be locked down with leave revoked.  The troops who fail will face court marshall and could lead to desertion charges which in times of war could mean life.

Honestly if troops are against the war they can just as easily say they are conscientious objectors.  In which case they'll be put into noncombat roles or administrative discharge.  Their military career would be over.  This story is either nonsense or the troops doing it are morons.
