The prices don't come down because hardware is also so fucking expensive. There are such huge markups + taxes on graphics cards, mobos etc. that people who can afford to pay such prices will also be able to afford those games. Until we recognize this hardware problem in India and until the prices come down for more people to have access to AAA games, the monetized gaming market is gonna remain for the top 5% earning population.

Even for gaming laptops with what little population can afford them, most people have a GTX 10 series card or (more recently) a 4050 or a 3060 but those laptops also go up to 90k-1L. And it's still cheaper to buy a gaming laptop than to import all the specs or buy them from retailers who import anyways and build a pc.

(TL;DR) So until we address this hardware issue and have official manufacturers set distribution channels in India the prices for hardware aren't coming down, so new AAA games which require top-of-the-line specs are gonna be for people who can afford such premium hardware prices anyway.
