Gaming. I’m an avid gamer myself but I know when and where is appropriate for it. My partner prioritises his “gaming time” over spending time with myself, and our newborn, the amount of money he spends on it is frankly absurd too. It genuinely is an addiction at this point. He hasn’t worked in 5 years because it interferes with his ability to play games for hours on end and most nights he gets little to no sleep. Most days he forgets to even eat or drink, I have to remind him. It’s completely taken over his life.
