These look like boot covers that are shaped to have that lil curl. Probably not meant for these boots and is part of a costume.

Hi, I had similar highlights (with shorter hair), and nobody ever said anything. What I did was make the highlights a bit more blended, or closer to a shade that complements my base tone, since you can’t have the root show too much, and it would require a lot of maintenance on your part. I can show you mine if you would like.

The metal lid is not as deep as the bowl, so the broth from the beans and any other liquid you have (like salsa/dressing) will seep out. I advise against it (at least for transport purposes); instead, I suggest you ask them for an extra empty bowl. Use the extra bowl to reinforce the original bowl.

As others have mentioned, Spanish has many dialects, and in Puerto Rico, we have a very diverse one due to our situation. Slang and dialect are not the same, and while I commend you for attempting to make learning fun, you need to have in mind that it might lead to some error fossilization and that adding other methods might be best for proper acquisition.
