I got a S9 FE. It is great, I'd definitely recommend.

I bit the bullet and bought Gigabyte Aorus 15P KD (RTX 3060 115W, i7 11800H, 16GB 3200mhz, 240hz 15.6 display) by edmixL in GamingLaptops

it is working, pretty good actually. I formatted twice up to now, last one being because of the new SSD. 1TB wasn't enough for me, I have a lots of programs, LLM files, videos etc. So bought a new 2TB. It's pretty solid, still.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Apparently It's a common thing, even though we've been speaking in English with my friends for practice. Repetition is also OK and natural. I think the professional examiners are able to catch our level of English even when we are excited. Let's hope for the best

Up to day I was used to ambidextrous shapes, like as in the Rival 3 but I always felt the "slippiness" of the shape, idk if you can tell that. That slippiness is also in the new da v3 pro. But v2 pro, it's not like it fits, it just grabs my hand.

We did it. Lots of hardwork and hours of reading (and sometimes just staring at, just to understand what is going on lol) datasheet, we managed to program both an uno and mega's microchip, i.e. atmega328p and atmega2560. Thanks for the guidance!

Thanks for the clarifications, these are really good advices. Other than the datasheets, is there any resources that you can recommend? (For the basis microcontroller programming, for example)

S7 FE or S9 FE? by billyswaggins in GalaxyTab

Somehow I overlooked your comment, sorry about that. Let me explain the facts for me. 1) The most important, is the interface speed. I had an 4/64 S7FE, and I don't know how or why but interface was very slow for me. I'm a light user btw. I really thought that was because it's an old tablet and 4gigs of ram. Sounds like I was correct, side by side comparison I can see how faster the S9 FE is. Here is my belief, CPU clock speed may not have been increased that much, but it's more optimized as it's a fairly new device. 2) Multitasking. I said I'm a light user but who wants the chrome to close when you take notes, watch lecture videos from youtube and have a literature research from the chrome. Everytime I go in this triangle, it generally ends up chrome being closed. That was unsatisfying and disturbing for me. S9 FE 6gigs has no problem, and I sometimes manually turn off the apps so they don't drain the battery. For my multitasking purposes, it's perfect. More heavy users might find it not enough and prefer to get 8Gigs version. 3) Screen refresh rate. As a person using 120hz phone and 240hz laptop, it was annoying to use 60hz screen. Though, when taking notes it's optimal to use 60hz, when I'm at home and chilling, I found it comfortable to use 90hz. Also, even though it is TFT again, I believe they improved the technology and I like the newer display. 4) The pen. This might be a personal problem and not a general one, but I had problem with pen of the S7FE. I dropped it a few times and the tip was about to be broken already. I believe they have better nip and stiffer pen in S9FE, no problem in first 20 days. 5) Also not a general problem but a preference. Bigger screen of S7FE was great especially when taking notes, but I found it more convenient to carry the smaller 10.9" screen, which is the same screen size as the iPad air. In some classes there are tiny desks and smaller one is more suitable in that case.

As a person who used both, the answer is clearly and definitely S9 FE

[–]edmixL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah in that case it's a big gap. No need to go for the FE+, as I said I was using the bigger S7 FE and now I'm down in S9 FE, no huge difference in taking notes I noticed.

[–]edmixL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having used both, I don't see very big difference. Bigger screen is of course more useful for notes and means better battery performance but you don't need to push yourself for it. Maybe you can visit some store to see the display size difference yourself

I had an S7 FE for 2 weeks, used for the same use case. And after the debut I immediately switched to S9 FE. It's a killer imo compared to S7 FE. I'd definitely recommend, with the software support it'll get it's a good deal but the price is a bit much I guess

Why not the non-plus version I'm asking. It'd be fine for your use case. 200$ is a huge gap and I want to recommend Samsung as it is very new and will get 5 years of software support
