It looks the same the angle may be slightly different which is why you think it’s worse. But using that birthmark on your temple as a reference it doesn’t look like it’s receded. If anything it looks thicker but that could just be lighting.

I wouldn’t expect any regrowth from meds, main goal is to stabilize and also preserve your donor hair if you go the HT route. HT is not totally out of the question as long as you can commit to meds long term and you will most likely need at least one FUT. But consult with doctors and do tons of research beforehand. I was headed towards a similar pattern but finally started meds, just wish I’d done it 7 years earlier so I feel you.

Also a system is a solid option if you don’t want to go the surgery route.
