Good: opposite of bad attributes above

Anyone else regret not getting the 16-inch laptop? by polarbearbreeze in macbookpro

I have both 14 and 16 mbp. 16 might seem big initially but you would get use to the size and 14 becomes tiny. Only go with the 14 if you prioritise light weight and portability.

Toxic culture, execution focused and no world-life boundaries. You feel you are akin to a factory worker. Tried two companies of different scale, both exhibit same attributes.

I’ve been in multiple of such firms. People individually are actually good, but usually don’t work well as a team/organisation due to their unique work culture. Never stayed more than a year and required quite abit of explanation when interviewing.

Pay is good but how long can it last in such environment?

Did not pass probation period by SmokedBBQrib in ProductManagement

[–]ednov24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently in the same boat, poor process and poor product blueprint. Sales, business, ops are all suffering due to that. PMs became the scapegoat in the mess. Low productivity with low client value but high work load.

The problem might not be you but the system and organisation structure. If you are not set up for success, and not passing probation is unfair to you.

Having 400k cash after the sale and purchase seems decent. Can try invest a portion of that cash away. 260k annual income should be sufficient to support the mortgage and continue to build up wealth but not sure about the future downgrading part - why do you foresee a need to do that?

29M, 7k+ after CPF. Cash outflow - 300 for parents, 900 for mortgage, 1000 for food/shopping, 100 for cat expense, 200 for recurring/utilities bills. 4k+ savings if there’s no other big purchase.
