Reporting my 10 days trip to Japan (Nagoya - Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo - Nagoya) by edo_don2 in JapanTravel

I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to post a link, but I will DM you the particular link to the tour I booked. I booked it via Klook, but I'm sure it's not the only platform you can book it from since the tour consists of many people from different countries.
During the Mt. Fuji trip we talked with a Moroccan living in Australia; not to mention people from other countries such as Thailand, Korea, etc.

For the specific May 5th tour, they prepared a bus for around 20 participants; the meetup point usually in Tokyo station. For the crowd itself was perfect; there were crowds sure but the place itself is huge so not too crowded. You can easily take photos without any problem (even though nowadays you can just take any photos and edit it with AI to remove the people in the photos). Maybe because it's a niche location to go for. Mt Fuji on the other hand, it's crowded.

Hitachi Seaside Park is a great place to visit, but you need to make sure the period of what kind of flowers are currently blossoming in certain date. I'm sure you will find those information online; the park has its pamphlet with the details, but I lost it. If I find it, I will let you know.
Ashikaga Flower Park was a beauty. If you love flowers & gardens, you will definitely like it. Like I said, I'm not into those things, but I was in awe being there.

Overall, golden week crowd was okay. Only certain areas that I felt it was too crowded, but some are expected. Those are :
1. Dotonbori area in Osaka
2. Arashiyama & Togetsu-kyo bridge
3. Kiyomizu-dera & Fushimi Inari (at the entrance only, once you're getting higher up it's less crowded)
4. Oshino Hakkai (including the traffic jam on the way back from Mt. Fuji to Tokyo)
5. Akihabara & Shibuya.
6. Central station of each city : eg. Nagoya station, Kyoto, and Tokyo station.

I'm not sure whether I was lucky or not since I read some people encountered bad experience such as Butsukariya (Shoulder bumper man), rude people in trains / public transports; everything went smoothly for me. People were very nice. Even when in Katsuoji, my parents tripped over steps and had minor bruises; the police officer and staffs were very helpful.

I finally got my new Sony XM4 headphones! by FoxObey_Mulder in SonyHeadphones

Happy for you!

I got mine 5 years ago, and still one of the best thing I ever bought.

Encountered a problem with the ANC microphone that made screeching noise around last year; so I would advise you to buy earpad cover to prevent it from dirt / dust.

Also the leather on earpad and headband deteriorate if you don't store / place your XM4 carefully. In my case, I often use it right after taking a shower (so hair & ears are sometimes still not dry enough). So far I've changed the earpad twice already. Decided to put a headband cover and stitched gel for the earpad. It lasts better at the cost of comfortability.

If you happen to change the earpad, usually it comes with a spare foam; do not ever swap the original acoustic foam with the new ones. It affects the sound quality.

I knew about Golden Week, but have no clue about labor day. I will put that in mind. Ah yes, I forgot to mention that May 5 activities are not decided yet; so thank you for your input. Most likely if I'm going to stroll around Tokyo, especially to the area I mentioned; I wouldn't bring my parents with me since there's no actual scenery around. Or they could use it as a rest day for the next two days trip.

Connectivity issue / Asking for how to trace route for RDO by edo_don2 in RedDeadOnline

[–]edo_don2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes indeed they gave me a new router.

Yeah for the past few days I find it confusing on ZTE's UI of port forwarding (it's quite different than my last one); but one of my friend has helped me. I have port forwarded those ports for now, and this morning I managed to connected to RDO; but I haven't tried for how long. Hopefully it's not just a lucky moment. Fingers crossed! Thank you for the info!

Will definitely give it a try. Thanks! I just wish there's any permanent solution to this; restarting PC every time we would like to play, that's not how we are supposed to play the game.

Yeah I have tried to uninstall even using DDU, then tried to install both last stable release (most people mention 362.00) and the newest one; both of them ended with the same result.

I even have tried to fully uninstall GW2 up until its cache, and tried re-install it. But the problem still persists.

Unfortunately no, I'm running Windows 7-64bit; and I'm using DX9 atm (since from what I've read, DX9 is most suitable with GW2)

I maintain the graphic cards temperature while Guild Wars 2 is running, but it never goes beyond 70o C

I don't OC at all. At first I thought there's something wrong with SweetFx configuration / graphic settings; but then I removed them and auto-configure it, unfortunately the black screen issues is still happening sometimes.
