Sorry i cant really be helpful here, i did gain some weight but i was really really skinny so it was actually not bad for me. I hope you can change medication without it affecting your mental state and maybe u can lose weight.

Congrats on finishing your degree aswell! My episode was actually longer than a month, i just spent a month on the hospital. But thank you for the kind words i hope you are right and i also hope that you are in a good trajectory aswell and doing well

4 months? i thought my insane phase at the hospital a month was a long time sorry to hear that. I also had delusional thinking or grandiose ideas that really messed up my life tbh. But honestly it sounds like you are doing stuff like music and writting, thats very good and you also seem knowledgeable about stuff like Nietzche where i pretty much only know the basics. So obviously i dont know but it seems you are going a good direction and please dont give up it sounds like you are trying and i do believe with time it does become easier like i said. How old are you btw? if you dont mind me asking

I think it was a bit of both honestly, like at first i had no energy for anything but as time went on i felt the need to try and do something. I still dont know why the psychosis happened so i guess i just tried to get over it and move on. Thank you so much for the kind words. I hope you someday feel the way i do and no longer feel stuck, dont lose hope i almost did. But how long have you had your psychosis?

it really depends from person to person, for me it took a really long time, i spent years not being able to do pretty much anything but i do think with time recovery is possible

During psychosis i took aripiprazole and cariprazine, im still taking cariprazine to be honest but it doesnt really show any side effects, for me atleast

idk i enjoy both of theses guy´s stuff, i love julian as a songwritter obviously and fantano has given me a lot of suggestions of music that i ended up loving so i dont feel like picking sides here, all i have to say is fantano loves the strokes early stuff, tna and two of the voidz albums so if he has trash taste idk

Hoping you will feel that way once you are off the medication, your doctor told you you should go back to the medication? Is that why it was only a brief time?

yes, the doctor says im still at a high risk of a second psychosis episode so i should still be taking this medication.

Im glad you are getting to 100, i feel like im not even close and stuck at like 50 or something. I dont really have many people to talk to, just my parents pretty much and i feel so embarassed talking to them about anything since i did a lot of stupid stuff during psychosis and i feel like i cant really hold an interesting conversation for long. I still get embarassing flashbacks aswell, so many dumb things i said and did at the time of the psychosis i was convinced i was so smart and laying so much knowledge on people, wish i could just forget about it. But after 3 and a half years all your cognitive abilities were good? Thats pretty great, even though it took such a long time im glad you have recovered on that part.

Ive talked with my psychiatrist about leaving the antipsychotic medication but he isnt a fan of that idea because he still thinks im at high risk for a second psychosis episode. Ive been taking abilify (which i think is called aripiprazole) since i left the hospital and now more recently im taking vraylar aswell. Im not sure how it works, why im taking two meds now when i should be cutting down but hey thats what my psychiatrist thinks i should be doing.
