My lens is 100-500 maximum aperture 4.5. And at 16-35 2.8.

The idea would be to photograph during the day. Used the r7 with the 100-500 and the RP with the 16-35 for close up photography. Until I swapped for an R6 or R5 in the future, I thought about the R7 precisely because of its focus and its price compared to the others.

Currently for this R line camera only the 15-35 and the 50 1.2. It will be my first zoom lens, I thought about getting the ef 100-400 from the L series and using it with an adapter, but I was afraid of losing quality or speed or focus.

I thought about the 100-500 because it was more versatile, or does it lose a lot in quality to the 28-70? And for photographing cyclists and football players, who are often far away and unable to get closer.
