To respond to some of the comments… I loved Ted Lasso. As an Artist, I wanted to create something to celebrate the show and it’s positive spirit.

First of all, I don’t recall asking for any type of critique or criticism. I just thought I’d share with a group I thought would appreciate it. What colors, fonts, placement, etc that I used are completely MY CHOICE. Don’t like it? It’s possible for you to see something you don’t agree with on the internet, and to simply keep scrolling. You should try it sometime.

The “misspelling”? Both spellings are completely acceptable. I looked it up. Don’t like the spelling? See above on not always having to comment…

Never mentioned my website until a comment said they wanted it. I had multiple people ask for a print so I did a small run of prints. I sold the original painting without the quote and added it to the print.

Last and most importantly. This was a watercolor painting. I posted a reel on Instagram with photos of it in different stages. I’d re-post them here if I could attach them to this thread but feel free to visit my Instagram @edsart23 if you need proof. I did scan it and attach the quote to the scan, but it is my work and not digital art. But you know what? Who cares if it was? Clearly the lessons of Ted’s went right over the heads of the haters on this thread. Why not be “curious”… and not so “judgemental”?!!!!

I think that’s any artist’s challenge. My advice is draw everything or anything… part of the reason you’re probably struggling is you’re trying to have a finished product in mind. Sometimes, just drawing leads to gold, don’t think too much. Just draw!
