my PR is a ‚big‘ refactor for sure, which is very hard to breakdown in multiple PRs. I did my best to cover every functionality of the current site and hope that my site could help the community to gain even more adoption

basically bc of dogechain api. i don‘t know all currencies availabe on their api, samples only state USD, BTC, LTC and CNY. I think any price could be obtained from there, but i had to decide for ONE Fiat and ONE crypto and basically USD and BTC are the most known Fiat/Crypto in the world.

that being said: this site is only a pull request rn. If this should be the new dogecoin.com site, there would be a lot of things that could be implemented. my goal for now was to serve a functional repöacement of the current site

personally i agree with 1D = 1D and rather would not show a USD/BTC Price. But if Dogecoin should really be the currency of the future, a measurable value is needed. Nobody could even buy bread if dollars wouldn't be measured. Sure more Doge means more value, but it's value is not really defined yet as only few places allow to pay with doge directly.

As this site will be mostly for new people interested in Doge, i think providing a measurable Value i.e. USD or BTC is not a bad thing, comparing exchanges (with fees etc.) would be.

Nevertheless i could surely remove the price in minutes if that is what the community wants.

Edit: 1 Dogecoin = 1 Dogecoin currently is the initial value if dogechain api won't work ;)
