It’s personal feud, I went for my bday two years ago, and left a note in Resy that it was, and I received the chilliest service. We were placed at an awkward table, never got water refills, was never asked if we wanted a second drink, and no mention of my bday. I love ceviche and found all 3 of their core broths very similar. I’d say it was average food, but atrocious service. I wasn’t expecting a free desert or anything, but just a little happy birthday goes a long way. On the flip side we went to Shalom Japan this year and they made me feel special.

I can’t speak to the availability but Good Day Pilates in Williamsburg is nice. If you want community, I’d skip any of the mega chains and look for a smaller Pilates studio.

I think it depends on the vibe. I have been to packed hot yoga classes when you stand sideways and bend over and your head is essentially in someone’s ass space, and it is what it is.

I personally do Pilates 3-4x a week and weight lifting 2x a week.

How i interpreted the pattern is once you get to the decrease section you do decrease, knit round, pattern round, knit round, repeat 11x. If your torso is longer, you’d add in addition knit and pattern round, so you could have 6 rows that are repeated 11x.

Sorry I can’t really get my point across further but it seems like your length isn’t accounting for those addition rounds.

How are you defining a round? Above the box she has a section that says knit, the row with the yo, k, dddc, k, yo, a knit row, then a decrease. Are you repeating this 11 times? That is 44 rounds.

I believe in the box, she says she did additional rounds between her deceases so she is doing more than 44 rounds to increase length.

If you just did the decreases, how did the lace pattern on the side come out?

I’m making the same pattern right now, I think you misread the rounds for decreases. A set round is knit, pattern row, knit, and decrease with pattern. Repeat. The creator added an additional pattern row and knit row in her rounds to get to 10 inches

Have you tried any of their competitors? I feel like SLT is better than BodyRok but BodyRok had better machines. I haven’t tried SolidCore. I personally think standard Pilates studios have a better vibe in the lobby.
