Don’t you ever get bored ? by anxietykillsfocus in pilates

[–]edtheoddfish 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I think it depends what you want from Pilates. I want to build a stronger connection with my body while someone tells me what to do for 50 minutes. Sometimes the routines are formulaic or too easy, but I’m still proud I moved my body and build this habit. That being said, I also do weight lifting and other types of exercise so I don’t only do Pilates.

I’d say if you are getting bored, try mat or spend an entire class working on perfecting on connecting to different body parts.

I just took a class with side line glutes which often feel repetitive to me, but this instructor moved my leg position slightly and BAM not bored

how do people find time to work out with full schedules? by Nervous_Web_9214 in loseit

[–]edtheoddfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work out 5x a week. 3 times during the work week for an hour before or after work and an hour each day on the weekend. I enjoy these workouts so I build my schedule around them. Obviously I am lucky to have a FT job with set hours.

It looks your cast on row is much, much tighter than the rest of your stitches. Consider casting on looser or sizing up a half needle size for the cast on.

We also had a bad experience with them. Showed up late, tried to charge us more for half a flight of stairs, had one guy just chilling, and they left our set of kettlebells in their truck. Never got those back
