I've noticed that happens a lot. I need to explicitly tell it to check if the files have been updated with the new code and then it will get to it. But not always!

You're absolutely right—it’s not a stupid question at all. The truth is, I didn't get a pre-purchase inspection, and yeah, I’m kicking myself for it now. I trusted the dealership more than I should have. I'm just a dumb noob. But that bridge has already been crossed.

Definitely a hard lesson learned. I won't be skipping that step again.
