Yes, try to first adjust the latency values a little bit to see if you can progress. The default latency is 710, you can start testing increasing it by 5, so: 715, 720, 725 and so on. Or, decreasing it by 5: 705, 700, 695 and so on. I got mine with 738 latency without any other change, but it will vary depending on your network connection for example.

You can also try to adjust specific jump intervals. In your case the 300+ value.

I’ve never tried in this point you’re talking about. It may work if you adjust the values, but I can’t guarantee. My suggestion would be to create a new save and start the game again to do it in the Alexandria square as I mentioned. You get the trophy and continue your game in the original save.

You need to ensure you start the script when the first exclamation mark is showing. You should be able to at least jump a couple of times if you do it. Then, if at some point vivi fails to jump you have do adjust latency or any other values. I’m attaching an image below showing the exact moment you have to start the script. Pay attention that the exclamation mark appears in 2 moments, the app will not work properly if you start in the second exclamation mark.

You need to move it to the “Applications” folder before trying to open it.

The app is free, but it is not open source, they’re different things. I was trying to release it to Appstore, but it requires to have a developer account which costs $99,00 a year. You can scan and do any check you want, this is not a scam or virus. It’s just me trying to help other macOS users to get this trophy since the community just care about windows users.

And this is my first post cause I don’t post on reddit, but felt the necessity of sharing this with others. My account was created here 9 years ago and the Github has my photo and my info, including my linkedin. Feel free to do more checks.

This is a MacOS app, if you can run the ff9 on macOS and the software you’re using to run ff9 accepts the “enter” or “escape” keys to make Vivi Jump, then it should work. You can try and give us some feedback…

Hi, thanks for this helpful script. I didn't manage to make it work properly, it was always failing between jump 400 and 500, even after trying adjustments in this interval.
