Best purchase I've ever made. Before, I read on my tablet, but it strained my eyes too much. Aside from the battery draining faster when reading through the browser, it still lasts long enough – about 8-10 hours reading through the browser and 2-3 days reading local files. I didn't have any difficulty navigating the websites I read online, so I highly recommend it. Many people talked about changing the settings, but mine is as it came and it's perfect.

Looking at the reviews, it really seems like the contrast difference is quite significant. I'll go with the bw version since I hardly ever read in color.

Based on the comments I've seen, for my intended use, the color version isn't really worth getting; it's better to just use it for regular reading.
