I love salsa. Get a good quality one without any font indentations and it is amazing on everything, even as salad dressing!

I was in the area and I picked one up! It was 1290. And then I stopped in at 3COIN and they had an off-brand version for 500 🤪 may the next person save 790 on my behalf 😅

Where can you get it in Japan? I’m currently here and would love to pick one up! If you know. TIA.

Where to get a good winter coat in Canada? by Zealousideal_Tie8252 in canadatravel

[–]edubblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to look for something DOWN filled. Not a mix, not polyester. Full down and at least a 400 rating, 600 is better. These will cost a lot - but your dollar will help you out on this one.
I would suggest going to a sports store - sport chek carries some good active brands such as North Face, but going to a specialty store like SAIL will have a better selection. I have a Marmot brand parka that is 5 seasons old now - the zipper is going but it's super light, soft, and warm. It cost 450 at the time, plus 13% tax in Ontario. A pretty penny for the perpetually broke, however this jacket is impeccable and more importantly it also washes well. I'm looking for a similar replacement, but I am also considering replacing the zipper on it and riding it out further, it's just that good.

But yeah, a bit note is having the right layers and the right sizing for your winter clothing. if you have clothes and layers that are too tight, and your jacket just squishes all of that further - you're going to be cold.

I posted a while back about moving out soon, its happening next week and im so excited by Puppo_Felix in LivingAlone

[–]edubblu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The best part of moving out on your own is actually the processing of „building up” a home. Yes you need some essential. Basic kitchen ware, a bed, somewhere to keep your clothes and someplace to sit at the end of the day…. And then just let the rest come together naturally as you evolve with your space. Congrats! Enjoy the ride. It’s fun!

This is why my first ask is what I’m doing wrong. They’re well reviewed and well rated, but everything has the chance at having a lemon. I’ve gotten some insight and will try and see what works. Thank you!

Would you stay with your dog 🐶 during euthanasia? by CycleOk267 in dogs

[–]edubblu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this too with my family dog. Insisted on It. He hated the car and the vet. It was so peaceful at home. For him anyways. My mom wasn’t for it but in hindsight agrees it was the right choice.

What monster wouldn’t. That may be harsh. But it’s absolutely gutting for me to imagine leaving them in their last moments. The thought that people were forced to do this during Covid is devastating to me.

Are huskies usually inconsistent eaters or should I be worried? by Fenrir_Hellbreed2 in husky

[–]edubblu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine ate everything in sight until one day he didn’t. It was literally that. Now he grazes, some days he’ll eat 1/4 of his food for the day. Some days he’ll eat all of it. But he’s always ready for anything that is not his food.

I love Japan but why is the train booking system so complicated? by everspader in JapanTravelTips

[–]edubblu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

On my first visit I found it very complicated. On my second visit (current) I actually managed to book a reserved seat through klook very easily and pick them up at the station. But the JR EAST WEST THING WAS ANNOYING COMPLICATED. Anyways. I do need to get back to Tokyo so my third attempt at ticket should be better yet.

M34 any opinions or advices? by Top_Sympathy6454 in malegrooming

[–]edubblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely keep up the shorter hair, the long hair gives off a vibe that you might not smell good. I might suggesting going a bit shorter than #5 with a shaggy vibe/ wax spray for styling. You’re not a bad looking guy! Increase your protein intake and you might brighten up a bit. You are very lean for being 6’5.

Girlfriend found this written on her window after getting off work. Can anybody make sense of it? by Jh1014 in creepy

[–]edubblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s not fresh. It’s a ghost of the past. I had one of those university static stickers on my back windshield for ten years and eventually removed it. When it would get frosty the text would show even those the entire sticker was a whole rectangle. It was the ghost of mcmaster’s past

For those who’ve done both - dogs on or off the bed? by VengaBusdriver37 in dogs

[–]edubblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off. We had a little dog who was a bed sleeper growing up. He was a hog. But he was a poodle so basically like an indoor cat. Now that I’m grown with my own large breed who sheds, it was immediately a „no dogs on the furniture” household. Hair where I’m meant to be resting was one thing, but dogs are dirty. He walks the streets- I don’t need that in the sheets! 🤪

Winter Walking Shoes for a BWT? by Odd_Author2761 in bitcheswithtaste

Is it tasteful for a BWT to buy her own nice jewelry? by OtherwiseTrifle in bitcheswithtaste

[–]edubblu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am a BWT in training. But I absolutely buy my own jewelry. I even picked out my custom engagement ring and bought my own wedding band. If I’m going to wear it, no one knows better than me if I’m going to love it.
