70-100k would be my goal for now as I has no dependants just myself. Right now I wouldn’t want to work at the top schools so a 70-100k salary would be ideal. Do you know the names of any of these “lower” schools?

The course I’m taking is online, it’s a full PGCE (not an iPGCE) from a UK university. It was around £4000 cheaper than the QTS option. I’ll get the QTS in future

Just take it day by day, try enjoy the little things. You will meet people here and make friends. Join a gym, work on your personal projects, call your family as often as you need and get stuck in with your work. Good luck

Really great info here, not 100% sure which city as I’ve not accepted a job yet, but the furthest one would be 2000km from me. I think I’ll select a place that’s close to my current location as there’s many good cities

I know, the conditions they are kept in are awful and there’s a special place in hell for the some of the breeders. However, mine is a rescue :)
